But God won me over and made me a part of his happy band of recovering hypocrites, the Church.

The mission of the Church, it sometimes seems, is to clean up the bad reputation given to God by people calling themselves Christians.Mark Danielshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18205344762960756655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3543355.post-70502326732474320832011-04-28T10:44:08.310-04:002011-04-28T10:44:08.310-04:00Unlike you I am not a believer. All too often, especially in recent decades, I have felt that those calling themselves "Christians" have simply been more hypocritical than the rest of us. And this despite the fact that I have a great deal of respect for the Christian message.

In regard to your comments on Trump and his birtherism, I am greatly reassured. The man is a braggart and a fraud. His comments have been entirely for effect. The content has been an irrelevance. For evidence simply look at his body language when confronted by reporters asking him about the release of Obama's long form birth certificate.

You won't get me back to church, but your position is honorable.sasflohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11036001645521284626noreply@blogger.com
