As is true of most of my baseball fan-friends, this poll indicates that a large majority of them across the US, are skeptical about the sport's new steroid policy, feeling it not nearly stringent enough. As a fan myself, I felt that it was a step in the right direction. We'll see how badly the game is tarnished or how unimpressed fans are by the new policy once the 2005 season rolls around.
We are rabid baseball (well, Angels, to be specific) fans, and are wildly impatient for the season to start. :) My husband, in particular, is highly skeptical of the steroid ban.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big baseball fan as well. Although I don't believe the current plan is a total solution it is at least a step in the right direction.
