We've all been in the place Lecrae, with help from Cam, describes in this great track: Desperate for a sense of God's forgiveness after we've repented in Christ's Name, but the voices of the devil, the sinful world, and our sinful selves insist on convicting us.
This experience, shared by people who believe in the God ultimately revealed in Jesus, is exactly what King David felt, as chronicled in Psalm 32, the psalm appointed for this coming Sunday. Lecrae also draws on Psalm 51, another of David's hymns, for this rap.
May God give to all who repent and trust in Christ, a sense of God's grace!
