Furler and his band did this cover of the old Police song last May 1 in a concert at Skully's in Columbus. Got to be there with some great friends. It was a double bill with Steve Taylor and was, overall, the best concert I've ever attended. (And I've seen some great concerts with artists like Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Elton John, James Taylor, dcTalk, Chicago, Switchfoot, Audio Adrenaline, Skillet, Jimmy Buffet, and Bruce Springsteen, among others.)
I like this cover very much. (Though the theology is really suspect, to say the least.)
Seeing the videos from that night brings back happy memories. Blessed.
