Prayers Needed for Richard Cohen's Family
Please pray for Richard Cohen's family as they deal with the diagnosis that his mother is suffering from leukemia. You may wish to pray for a miraculous healing and certainly, that Richard's mother and the entire family will be given encouragement, strength, and hope in the weeks and months to come. Richard is one of the finest--and most honest--writers in the blogging world. God bless you, Richard!

They have my prayers.
Such suffering is hard to understand....a member of our congregation, a lovely 34 year old woman, wife of a young pastor, mother of three small children, passed away last week after a year-long bout with brain cancer. It's all very hard to grasp.

I knew that you could be counted on for prayers.
While Richard's mother is in her eighties, suffering and death still seem like such an unnatural encroachment on us. That's because I think, deep down, we know that we were built for eternity. But, right now we do see, as Paul puts it in the New Testament, through "a glass, darkly."
