I need exercise...

...so I bought one of these today. It's only a hundred bucks at Brookstone. I'd tried the aerobic twisting stepper at the store several times and customer comments I've read confirm that it provides a surprisingly good workout. I got done working out with it a few minutes ago and it's goooood! Now, if I can just remain disciplined about using it.

Ah, good luck with that Mr. Daniels. I have to admit, I can't help but wince and think of the accumulating pile of dusty exercise equipment in my own basement when I hear the familiar line 'Now, If I can just remain disciplined...'. If you manage break the willpower curse, you'll be an icon to many. Godspeed.

I understand the danger of utterly humiliating myself.

But in my defense, I've only purchased one previous piece of exercise machinery. It was a Health Rider and I kept using it until my lower back problems made it impossible to use. I'm hoping that I'll keep at this thing.

God bless!

you sound way more legit than me. having to give up your health rider because of back problems is far more convincing than my reason for not using our 300 dollar treadmill: when it's folded up in the corner of the basement, it's perfect for sliding the christmas tree stand into in the off season, and the top area is a good place for storing the box with all the ornaments in it.

uuummmm, what is it!!!!! My initial thought was something ornery, so lets not go there.
I have a mid-price eliptical-no, its a cheap eliptical, and 1 minute on that thing and you're done. I also have a stationary bike. It used to have 9 programs-was really a great workout, but........ some little fingers, from some young child, some years ago has delegated it to one boring gear.

Anyhow, good luck with the "fitness challenge"

ps-What did you do with your healthrider???

Gwen:
We sold the Health Rider at a garage sale before we moved to Logan.
