Helen Keller on Making a Difference

(Here's a great thought for the Advent Season, a megatheme of which is how we're to live as we await the return of Jesus Christ at the close of history. It was in this morning's OnLine with Faith, the daily emailed inspirations provided by my colleague and friend, Pastor Glen VanderKloot, who serves at Faith Lutheran Church in Springfield, Illinois.)

A Thought for the Day

“When we do the best that we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life, or in the life of another. “ (Helen Keller)

Scripture: 2 Peter 1:5 (CEV):
“Do your best to improve your faith. You can do this by adding goodness, understanding…”

Prayer:
Lord, help me to remember that I might make a significant difference in someone's life by doing small acts of kindness.
Amen

Thanks, Mark. Many years ago, my mother who was blind, met Helen Keller when she came to speak at Batavia School for the Blind in upstate NY. God will use us whenever we are open. Blessings.
