Here's the great thought that appeared in today's emailed inspiration from my colleague, Pastor Glen VanderKloot of Faith Lutheran Church in Springfield, Illinois.
The next time you're tempted to be consumed by anger with those you may see as your "enemies," remember who our real--and common--enemies are.

Thought for the Day
“For those who will fight bravely and not yield, there is a triumphant victory over all the darks things of life.” (James Allen)
Scripture: Ephesians 6:12 [New Century Version]:
“Our fight is not against people on earth but against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world's darkness, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly world.”
Prayer:
Lord, give me the courage to stay in the fight against the darkness. Amen

We fight not against flesh and blood; but powers...
this is the real battle. It's much bigger than any of us and will require strength that's great than any of us have. Thank God we have a champion whom God himself elected.
