Self-Care v. Self-Centeredness

From psychologist and Christian counselor Henry Cloud's book, Changes That Heal:

The Bible never says that doing things for ourselves is bad; it assumes that we need to do some things for ourselves. However, it does speak harshly against making ourselves the center of the universe, living only for ourselves. This self-centeredness is evil.
