What's the Best Book You've Read in the Past Six to Twelve Months?

How To Live: Or A Life of Montaigne in One Question and 20 Attempts at an Answer, by Sarah Bakewell.
That's the one that has stayed with me the most.
The best book I've read, and am still reading, is "Cultural Amnesia", by Clive James.
A slow, but a necessary read.
Seed Folks by Paul Fleischman
