Apparently, Major League Baseball will make an announcement tomorrow regarding a new, tougher policy on steroid use. I'm glad this is happening and that now, looking at the possibility of imposing sanctions and removing home runs from the records of those who have been in violation of current steroid policies will happen. This is a pipe dream, of course. But for anyone who loves the game of baseball, it's a travesty to think that people who may have compiled their records on the cheap can, unchallenged, supplant people like Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth, who earned their records.
