A Grammatical Point

As a footnote to his interesting exploration of China's response to the recent tsunami, Paul Musgrave at In the Agora makes the comment that the recent disaster was a single tsunami, not multiple tsunamis. As one who made this grammatical error early on, I can only say that Musgrave is correct and, "Mea culpa!"

The only explanation I can offer for my mistake is that a disaster so massive is almost incomprehensible as a single, cataclysmic event. But it was one event, a single tsunami.
