I knew I liked you, Matt!

For weeks now, I've been telling friends that by the end of the season, should they beat Michigan, the Buckeyes will have likely been involved in three different #1 v. #2 games. They beat Texas when that team was #2. Michigan is now ranked #2 and plays Ohio State on November 18. If (when) the Buckeyes win that game--and it will be tough even though it's in Columbus, they will then play for the national championship in January.

I don't remember a team ever having that challenging a road on the way to the national championship. But short of some playoff system, should the Buckeyes win out these games, their #1 status will be indisputable.

I love the way Tressel keeps his team focused. That gives me great optimism for a January celebration!

I grew up in Dayton, so naturally, I'm a Bucks fan. My NFL teams, however, change with the city I live in, so I've been a Colts fan for a few years now - although there's still a place in my heart for Dem Bengals....
