Faith in God erases sin’s power over our lives. Faith is simply, trust. When we believe in Jesus Christ, we stop trusting in our own judgments about ourselves or our lives--whether those judgments evidence egomania or self-loathing, it doesn't matter--and instead, we trust in God’s grace, the charitable acceptance He gives to all who turn from sin and trust in Christ.
