I'm betting stupid. This woman is a loose cannon. Obviously she did not take her committment to the people who voted for her seriously. I find her potential as a candidate very distressing.
I remember that Nelson Rockefeller resigned the NY governorship with about two years left in his term. He may have been prepping for another presidential run. But he'd already been governor for 15 years. So the circumstances were a bit different.
